Abstract

The invention relates to an autonomous robot jockey, designed to replace human riders in camel races, in order to eliminate the risks of accidents and the ethical issues associated with the exploitation of children. Featuring a compact, lightweight chassis, the robot is mounted on the camel's back and incorporates advanced sensors and cameras to monitor the race in real time. On-board artificial intelligence ensures autonomous guidance by analyzing data such as speed, trajectory and competitors' positions. The robot also features a motorized whip, activated automatically or on command, to guide the camel within safe limits. A wireless communication system links the robot to a control room, where camel owners can supervise the race via virtual reality goggles and intervene if necessary using a remote control. Thanks to a high-capacity battery and integrated cooling system, the device delivers reliable performance over long runs and in extreme conditions. This invention meets modern requirements for safety, ethics and performance, while respecting the traditions of camel racing. By combining autonomy, artificial intelligence and human interaction, this robot jockey represents an innovative and sustainable solution for modernizing this sport, while enhancing its cultural and ethical stakes.
