Integrated recycling system for coffee capsules: separating coffee from aluminum for eco-friendly reuse

Abstract

An automatic sorting and recovery system for used coffee capsules; it is designed for a capsule-based coffee machine without a stopper, enabling efficient recycling of the capsules by separating the coffee from the capsule material (such as aluminum). The purpose of this device is to facilitate the collection, sorting, and separation of the capsules components (primarily ground coffee and aluminum) for environmentally friendly recycling, reusing the coffee as fertilizer and the aluminum for other purposes.
