Abstract

The present invention relates to a durable and economical cast-earth concrete, using clay sourced from aggregate quarries in an environmentally friendly formulation without the use of energy-intensive processes such as calcination.The composition of this concrete includes a stabilizer (6-10%), clay from aggregate quarries (20-30%), aggregates (25-30%), sand (30-40%), and a superplasticizer (1-1.5%) to ensure a homogeneous and fluid paste.The invention also relates to a manufacturing process for said concrete, including the homogeneous mixing of the above components in a mixer, the gradual addition of water to adjust the consistency, and placement in formwork with light vibration to eliminate air bubbles and obtain a uniform density.Natural air curing allows the concrete to reach a mechanical strength of 30 MPa after 28 days.
