Abstract

The invention describes a limiting assembly intended to limit the opening of the leaf (2) of a sliding door or window, intended to be installed between the leaf (2) and the fixed frame (4) where it is installed, in which the limiting assembly (1) comprises a movable plate (7) which can slide along the leaf (2) by means of the action of an actuator (8), a strike plate (11) fixed to the edge of the frame (4) and an arm (16) one end of which is connected to the movable plate (7), passes through the edge of the leaf (2), and the other end of which can slide along a channel (12) of the strike plate (11).
