Abstract

The invention relates to a pressure exchanger that comprises a rotor configured to receive a first fluid, receive a second fluid, and exchange pressure between the first fluid and the second fluid. The pressure exchanger further comprises a sleeve disposed around the rotor, wherein the first fluid is intended to enter the rotor radially through the sleeve. The pressure exchanger further comprises a strut disposed within the rotor.
