Abstract

An elongated ceiling grid profile comprising (1) an upper portion having spaced-apart side walls (a) threaded to receive and retain a first threaded element and (b) having lower edges, (2) a lower portion having spaced-apart side walls (a) configured to receive and retain a second threaded element and (b) having upper edges, and (3) a middle portion that (a) connects the lower edges of the side walls of the upper portion and the upper edges of the side walls of the lower portion and (b) includes a pair of side walls of the middle portion that curve inward from the lower edges of the side walls of the upper portion and the upper edges of the side walls of the lower portion to come into contact with one another between those edges.
