Intelligent pedestrian crossing signaling system

Abstract

The invention relates to road safety, specifically to an intelligent optical signaling and warning system for pedestrian crossings, and can be used to increase the visibility of pedestrians and pedestrian markings, particularly in conditions of limited visibility.The intelligent system, according to the invention, comprises at least one road sign (3) for pedestrian crossings, mounted on a support (1), on which are also mounted in the upper part a lamp (2) for illuminating pedestrian markings and a monitoring and control module (7) in the lower part. The road sign (3) is equipped with passive (5) and active (6) warning LEDs and at least one brightness sensor (4). The module (7) includes a laser projector (8) for projecting visual information messages for pedestrians onto the sidewalk and a microcontroller, to which are functionally connected a macroblock for activating the road sign (3) and the projector (8), a GPS module for synchronizing road signs (3) of the intelligent system, a macroblock for controlling LEDs (5) and (6), a macroblock for configuring the parameters of the intelligent system, a macroblock for recording statistical and operational data, a macroblock for synchronizing the activation of road signs (3), a local communication macroblock connected to a device for local adjustment of the road sign (3), a remote communication macroblock connected via a radio concentrator to a server, a proximity sensor and a display.
