Abstract

An actuator for use with a fog generating device, the actuator comprising a battery, an H-bridge circuit configured to be connected to an ultrasonic transducer of the fog generating device, and a microchip connected to the H-bridge circuit to control the H-bridge circuit to generate an AC drive signal. An oscillator configured to generate a main fog signal, a first phase fog signal, and a second phase fog signal is provided, wherein the phases of the first phase fog signal and the second phase fog signal are centrally aligned. A pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator subsystem, a digital processor subsystem, and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) subsystem are also provided.
