Abstract

The invention relates to the field of chemistry and pharmacology, in particular to the production of a polymeric material with antibacterial properties from a chitosan copolymer grafted with highly water-soluble mono-(o-carboxybenzamidomethylene) iron phthalocyanine (CBAM-PcFe) and can be used in the medical field as a bactericidal agent for gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and in other areas of medicine.Summary of the invention consists in that a polymeric material with antibacterial properties based on chitosan grafted with mono-(o-carboxybenzamidomethylene) iron (II) phthalocyanine is proposed, in which the CBAM-PcFe content ranges from 10 to 30% by weight.The technical result of the invention consists in that the developed polymeric material is highly water-soluble (1 g in 100 mL of water) and has antibacterial properties, especially for gram-negative bacterial cultures at the prototype level and low toxicity.
