Abstract
The invention relates to coordination chemistry, specifically to the synthesis of two coordination polymers of cadmium(II) based on the coordinating agentN,N'-bis(picolinoyl)hydrazine, with photoluminescent properties and can be applied in the optoelectronic industry.According to the invention, polymorphic 1D coordination polymers of cadmium(II) with the formulas {[Cd(L)]·0.5H2O}n(1)and {[Cd(L)]·H2O}n(2)are claimed, in which H2L representsN,N'-bis(picolinoyl)hydrazine.The results of the photoluminescence study showed that the claimed polymorphs emit yellow-green fluorescence, with the maximum located at 2.5 eV (500 nm) for polymorph1and 2.4 eV (520 nm) - for polymorph2, respectively, which is suitable for the production of screens and viewing devices, since the yellow-green region is the most comfortable and optimal for the human eye and provides better visual perception.
