Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of lung cancer is described, characterized in that it comprises the antihistamine loratadine, the beta-blocker nebivolol, and the tyrosine kinase inhibitor gefitinib, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell lines. The nebivolol-loratadine-gefitinib combination produced a significant synergistic effect in inhibiting metabolic activity and colony formation, as well as in promoting apoptosis in both cell lines.
