Abstract
The present invention provides for the synthesis of a composite based on cellulose, styrene, and zeolite in a 1:18:1 ratio (paper:styrene:zeolite) through a bulk polymerization process with a reaction time of 2 hours at 90°C with mechanical stirring. The composite exhibits a compressive strength of 560.92 kg / cm². The composite has the advantage of being manufactured from waste materials, utilizing these materials in the production of products for the ceramics industry, and its compressive strength is comparable to that of materials such as paving stones and structural blocks.
