Abstract
The various aspects of the present invention relate to an improved nitrogen (N2) regulation system integrated with a hydrogen (H2) sensor as a combined package. This system is designed to detect hydrogen generation within a transformer, directly in the transformer's nitrogen headspace. The present invention also ensures the operation of a system that maintains the set pressure range, either by adding nitrogen or venting overpressure to the atmosphere as required. The final stage of the N2 regulation system is responsible for maintaining the pressure of the gas-covered tank within the range of 0.5 to 5.0 psi at a constant rate.
