Abstract

A dishwasher treatment unit comprising a chassis defining a treatment chamber with a door assembly and a dispenser assembly operatively coupled to the door assembly. The dispenser assembly has a cartridge receptacle defining a cartridge seat for holding a cartridge assembly and at least one hydraulic coupling for connection to a pump and a motor driving the pump. The pump and motor are located away from the dispenser assembly for pumping detergent from the detergent cartridge into the treatment chamber.
