Abstract
The present invention relates to an intelligent system and method for mitigating and responding to forest fires, configured to assess risk conditions and execute preventive or suppressive hydraulic actions over a target area. The system comprises a water source (101), a pumping system (102), a storage unit (103), a control unit (104), and a distribution system (105) directed toward a target area (106). The control unit (104) operates a functional architecture comprising a data acquisition module (201), a processing module (202), a risk assessment module (203), a decision module (204), and an execution module (207).The decision module (204) selects between a first preventive operating mode (205) and a second suppression operating mode (206), determining intervention parameters such as fluid source, fluid quality, volume, intensity, target zone, and distribution medium. In additional modes, the system comprises a mobile unit (303) supplied from a loading point (302) to intervene in a target zone (304).
