Abstract

This application describes a method for configuring multicast or broadcast resources, a method for transmitting information, an apparatus, a distribution unit (DU), a centralized unit (CU), a terminal, and a storage medium; the method comprises: a DU receives relevant information from a first multicast or broadcast service that is expected to be received and that is reported by at least one terminal, sends the relevant information received to a CU, wherein the relevant information sent is used by the CU to configure resources of the first multicast or broadcast service for the DU, and receives resource configuration information of the first multicast or broadcast service sent by the CU.
