Abstract

The present invention relates to a greenhouse-type solar dryer with a chapel-type roof, which has been manufactured from transparent material, preferably cellular polycarbonate to reduce convective losses, and a selective film with heat absorption and solar filter function, placed on the lower face of the walls, for better capture of solar radiation; being characterized by a false roof that divides a drying chamber and the roof itself, where it also has an air recirculation system to increase mass transfer and side walls with thermal buffer chambers to further reduce convective losses.
