Abstract
The present invention relates to an autonomous device for monitoring carbon emissions in agricultural soils, integrating gas and environmental variable sensors, embedded artificial intelligence, and connectivity for real-time data transmission. It comprises a power management module with a solar panel and rechargeable battery for autonomous operation, a gas sensor module for measuring carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) concentrations, and an environmental sensor module for capturing temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure. Furthermore, it incorporates a cellular and GPS connectivity module for transmission via MQTT over LTE and blockchain-based data storage to ensure traceability. The processing is performed on an ESP32 microcontroller with an embedded artificial intelligence model that includes a preprocessing submodule with signal filtering and a predictive analytics submodule based on neural networks with edge computing and federated learning. This design enables autonomous and optimized analysis of carbon emissions data without the need for external server connections, contributing to sustainable and efficient agricultural management.
