A urinal with basin

Abstract

There is provided a urinal (1) for individual use of the type consisting of an open fronted urinal chamber (2) having back (3), side (5) and base walls (6) and a first drainage outlet, the urinal (1) further consisting of a hand washing basin (7) disposed above the urinal chamber (2) as a unitary piece, the hand washing basin (7) being adapted to drain into the chamber (2) so that the back (3) and side walls (5) of the urinal chamber (2) are wetted evenly, in use, by drainage water from the hand washing basin (7), characterized in that the urinal (1) further consists of a cavity disposed between the hand washing basin (7) and the urinal chamber (2), the cavity being configured to receive drainage water from the hand washing basin (7) and to store drainage water, and wherein the hand washing basin (7) is provided with a secondary drainage outlet in the form of a plurality of holes above the urinal chamber such that drainage water is dispensed through the plurality of holes to wet the back (3) and side walls (5) of the urinal chamber.
