Abstract

The present invention discloses a solar cell having relatively greater or higher power conversion efficiency. The solar cell comprises a perovskite layer (100), an electron transport layer (101), and a titanium disulfide atomic layer (102). The titanium disulfide atomic layer (102) is preferably sandwiched between the perovskite layer (100) and the electron transport layer (101). The titanium disulfide atomic layer (102) is configured for stoichiometrically passivating an electronic trap state on a surface of the electron transport layer (101) thereof to enable effortless photogenerated electron transfer at the interface, improving the open-circuit voltage and henceforth, improve the power conversion efficiency of the solar cell.
