Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for monitoring physiological parameters of an infant, comprising: a wearable article (11) to be worn by the infant and two or more sensors (12) mounted in the wearable article (11) for sensing physiological parameters of the infant. A processing unit (13) receives and processes raw data from the sensors (12), and a wireless transceiver unit (14) communicates a processed data to an external device (15). The external device (15) receives and analyzes the processed data and notifies a user when an abnormal condition of the infant is detected.
