Drawer side frame

Abstract

A drawer side frame (7) comprising a side wall (70) for housing pull-out guide rails (4), a guide brace (14), a connecting bracket (15), and a resilient member (16) disposed between the guide brace and the connecting bracket. The side wall also includes connector struts (18a, 18b, 18c, 18d) for receiving a drawer bottom panel (6). The guide brace includes a stopper plate (14d) and the connecting bracket includes a locking element (15b) with a head portion (150) and a base portion (15a). The locking element head portion and base portion are vertically movable, with the stopper plate disposed therebetween. In use, vertical displacement of the side wall and the connecting bracket causes abutment of the stopper plate with the head portion and base portion, which defines the limit that the side wall and the connecting bracket can be raised. In response to vertical displacement, the resilient member biases the guide brace downwardly, resulting in secure locking of the guide brace to the pull-out guide rails.
