Composite sheet for application as overlying repair patch to damaged surface, and methods thereof

Abstract

The present invention discloses a composite sheet suitably dimensioned for application as an overlying repair patch to a damaged surface including those of metal, ceramic, plastic, and concrete, and methods thereof. The composite sheet comprises a mixture of a basalt fibre and a sugar palm fibre reinforced by a binding compound comprising a granite silica toughened resin prepared from a silica powder derived from a granite dust via a sol-gel method, a milled granite and a thermoset polymer.
