Small medium enterprise (SME) industry 4.0 readiness assessment method

Abstract

The present invention relates to an Industry 4.0 Readiness Assessment Model designed specifically for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The model integrates Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to systematically assess Industry 4.0 readiness. The invention features a multi-criteria decision-making framework, an automated scoring system, and a decision-support system to provide SMEs with actionable insights for Industry 4.0 adoption. This model offers a cost-effective and structured assessment tool to facilitate digital transformation among SMEs. (Figure 1)
