A self-sustaining shelter

Abstract

The present invention generally relates to a self-sustaining shelter. There is a known self-sustaining shelter which is a utility providing kiosk that can be deployed as a transit stop for public transport. However, it does not fully utilize the natural resources available to maximize its full potential as a public facility. The present invention discloses a self-sustaining shelter (10) comprising a main control box (100), a solar panel (200), a lighting system (300), a climate control system (400), a security system (500), an irrigation system (600), an environmental monitoring system (700), a remote server (800), and a remote terminal (900). A rainwater harvesting system (610) supplies rainwater to the irrigation system (600) to water plants and to the climate control system (400) to lower surrounding temperatures by spraying cooling mist. The self-sustaining shelter (10) can be controlled and monitored remotely via the remote terminal (900). [Figure 2]
