Abstract

The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising: a) a first phase comprising rosuvastatin, preferably a coated tablet, and b) a second phase comprising omega-3, preferably a granule. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention overcomes a number of significant technological challenges due to the physicochemical properties and dosage differences of each drug. This pharmaceutical composition is stable, making it safe and effective in the treatment and prevention of disorders associated with lipid metabolism. The invention also relates to a manufacturing process for the pharmaceutical composition.
