Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for locating a joint between at least two objects, comprising: a) capturing a first image of an area of the at least two objects, wherein the area comprises at least part of the joint while illuminating the area from a first illumination position; b) capturing a second image of the area while illuminating the area from a second illumination position; 0) determining at least one joint location of the at least part of the joint based on the first image and / or the second image; and d) moving a welding torch based on the at least one joint location, and wherein the first illumination position is different from the second illumination position. The present invention also relates to a welding system for welding a joint.
