Abstract
A converter (9) of water wave energy comprising: - a first wall (1) connected at an angled intersection to a second wall (2); - a water basin (3) placed on one end of the second wall (2); and - a hydroelectric turbine (5) disposed at least partially in the water basin (3), wherein the second wall is placed at an elevation from the first wall (1) and wherein the first wall (1) is sloped upwardly towards said second wall (2), wherein the second wall (2) comprises a concave surface recessed inwards away from the first wall (1), wherein a chord of said concave surface is larger than a width of the water basin (3).
