Abstract

A process for producing PF1378A, including a step of contacting PF1378B with one or more proteins selected from the group consisting of (1) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO: 2, (2) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence with a sequence identity of 70% or more with respect to the amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO: 2 and having the activity of converting PF1378B to PF1378A, (3) a protein encoded by a base sequence specified in SEQ ID NO: 1, and (4) a protein encoded by a base sequence with a sequence identity of 70% or more with respect to the base sequence specified in SEQ ID NO: 1 and having the activity of converting PF1378B to PF1378A, by contacting it with PF1378B, thereby obtaining PF1378A.
