Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for the biogenic synthesis of silica nanoparticles, which includes the following steps: a) Preparation of an extract of bioactive compounds from Asparagus officinalis waste: where the waste is washed and dried at a temperature between 48 and 52°C until a moisture content of 5 to 6% is achieved, sieving is carried out with a mesh opening of 841-850 µm, then a mixture is made between the waste and 70% v / v ethanol in a solid-liquid ratio of 0.04 g / ml, and an extraction is carried out by ultrasound at 49-50°C, to obtain an extract of Asparagus officinalis waste; b) Selection as a precursor to tetraethyl orthosilicate Si(OC2H5)4, with a concentration greater than or equal to 98%; c) Preparation of silica nanoparticles: where 3 ml of HCL [1M] are mixed for every 4 ml of Asparagus officinalis waste extract, maintaining the mixture at a constant speed of 500 rpm and a temperature of 22 °C;3ml of the tetraethyl orthosilicate precursor is gradually added to every 4ml of the Asparagus officinalis waste extract, maintaining a stirring of 600 rpm for 15 minutes at 55°C; crystallization is carried out through a forced convection oven at 70°C, calcination is performed at 300°C until a white solid is obtained, the above is ground, giving rise to the silica nanoparticles.
