Abstract
The present invention describes a process for obtaining a biofertilizer for corn from algae, using artisanal biodigesters and efficient microorganisms (EM-1) as fermentation promoters. The biofertilizer preparation steps include the activation of EM-1, the addition of macroalgal biomass, and the fermentation period. Fertilization trials in Zea mays crops demonstrated the effectiveness of the developed biofertilizer.
