Abstract

The invention relates to a portable verification device for identifying and verifying items associated with goods using QR and RFID reading, and integrating a sealable local record. The device comprises a housing that contains an optical QR code reader module, an RFID reader module, and a control unit. Additionally, it incorporates a local recording module with non-volatile memory housed in a secure compartment equipped with a sealing mechanism that provides evidence of tampering, and optionally a tamper sensor that records intervention events. The device can incorporate operational profiles for multi-country operation, recording the active profile along with each event. The proposed configuration improves operational traceability and provides local evidence of field records.
