DUAL TUBE MANUFACTURING CELL

Abstract

A corrugated pipe manufacturing cell is configured to produce multiple corrugated pipes in parallel. The manufacturing cell may include an extrusion system capable of providing multiple independently regulated flows of plastic pipe material to multiple die heads. The multiple die heads can feed a set of mold blocks with double cavities to form the multiple corrugated pipes. The pipe manufacturing cell can be switched between a first mode for producing single, large-diameter corrugated pipes and a second mode for producing multiple, smaller-diameter corrugated pipes.
