FILLING SYSTEM FOR BERRY HARVESTER

Abstract

A fruit harvester includes a chassis, a fruit removal system, a fruit delivery system, and a container delivery system for automatically delivering individual containers. A container filling station receives the fruit from the fruit delivery system and fills the individual containers. The container delivery system automatically separates the bottom container from a stack of containers. The container delivery system includes a support structure that defines an open vertical shaft configured to support a stack of containers. A lifting carriage moves vertically beneath the stack of containers. Retractable clamps engage the rims of the containers in an extended position.
