Abstract
A pipe coupling consists of two segments with tongues adapted to receive adjustable fasteners that bring the segments together and join the pipe elements; each tongue has an inner surface and a stop surface in separate relation; the stop surfaces of the corresponding tongues come into contact with each other when the adjustable fasteners are tightened.
