Abstract
A module for assembling stairs from simple parts, consisting of a stair tread and two handrails that form the basic structural unit for stair construction. Each handrail is made up of seven simple parts: three vertical tubes and two pairs of horizontal plates with perforations that allow the tubes to be inserted by pressure, without the need for welding. The upper plates define the segmented handrail, and the lower ones form the riser where they connect to the stair tread. From this module, the construction of straight, curved, or mixed staircases is reduced to two operations: assembling the modules and tightening the nuts on the studs.
