FOLDABLE PANELS FOR TEMPORARY SEGMENTATION OF SPACES WITH THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC COMFORT

Abstract

Folding panels for temporary segmentation of spaces with thermal and acoustic comfort, characterized in that they comprise: a longitudinal rail embedded in an existing ceiling slab by means of a plurality of anchor bolts that fit into wooden dowels; the longitudinal rail supports a plurality of movable panels by means of a pair of supports per panel, and between the rail and the supports there is a flexible rubber gasket; there is a channel that covers the rail and two anchor bolts along its entire length; each movable panel is formed by a rectangular frame whose edges have tongue and groove joints to couple with adjacent panels, inside the frame there are parallel reinforcing strips and a plurality of crossbars between them; and on both faces of each panel, an interchangeable layer made of sound-absorbing materials is installed, said outer layer having a plurality of magnets on its surface compatible with the metal inlays of the framework.
