Abstract

The proposed model "T-shirt with height sensors on the shoulders to detect and prevent postural asymmetries" consists of: a casual dress t-shirt, in which a high-precision height sensor will be installed symmetrically on each shoulder (1), two high-precision height sensors that will be installed one on each shoulder of the t-shirt, these can detect with precision how many centimeters or millimeters one shoulder is higher than the other, so that if the heights of the shoulders present asymmetry, that is, if it is detected that one shoulder is higher than the other, then a cell phone will receive an alert message (2), a cell phone where the user will receive an alarm message indicating that asymmetry in the heights of the shoulders has been detected (3),A mobile application, which will be a dedicated app provided by the manufacturer or compatible with serial Bluetooth, will capture information from the sensors, perform comparisons, and send asymmetry alerts to the user's cell phone. The system can provide instant information so that the user or therapist can become aware of and correct posture, and allows progress to be evaluated during treatment or training (4).
