Abstract

This refers to a compound that has a fibrosis-inhibiting effect; the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, has been confirmed to effectively inhibit the expression (formation) of alpha-SMA, COL1A1, and F-actin, which are major causative factors of fibrosis. A compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, a stereoisomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where X is N, S, or O; Y is O or S; R1 is a C1-C10 alkyl, a C3-C20 cycloalkyl, a C2-C20 heterocycloalkyl, among others; R2 is H or a halogen; R3 and R4 are joined together to form a 5- or 6-membered ring, wherein the ring has one or more H atoms that are substituted with -NH2, dimethylamine or -NH-(C1-C5 alkyl), or a C1-C5 alkyl, and when R3 and R4 do not form a ring, R4 is absent or contains H; R3 is a C3-C10 cycloalkyl, a C2-C10 heterocycloalkyl, among others.
