Abstract

An aerosol-generator (200) for an aerosol-generating device (300), and an aerosolgenerating device (300) comprising an aerosol-generator (200), the aerosolgenerator (200) comprising a plurality of surface acoustic wave atomisers (202, 203), and a supply element (205). Each surface acoustic wave atomiser (202, 203) comprises: a substrate (206, 211) comprising an active surface (208, 213); and at least one transducer (207, 212) positioned on the active surface (208, 213) of the substrate (206, 211) for generating surface acoustic waves on the active surface (208, 213) of the substrate (206, 211). An atomisation region (204) is defined between the substrates (206, 211) of the plurality of surface acoustic wave atomisers (202, 203). The supply element (205) is arranged to supply a liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the atomisation region (204).
