Rooftop tent

Abstract

A rooftop tent comprising: a base and a top with flexible sidewalls extending between the base and the top; at least one moveable joint connected to the base and to the top; the at least one moveable joint allowing the top to move with respect to the base between a sleeping position and a transportation position; wherein the at least one moveable joint includes a primary arm and a secondary arm; the primary arm and secondary arm being pivotally connected to each other; the primary arm having a first primary arm end pivotally connected to either the base or the top and a second primary arm end both slidably and pivotally connected to the other of the base or the top; and the secondary arm having a first secondary arm end pivotally connected to either the base or the top and a second secondary arm end both slidably and pivotally connected to the other of the base or the top.
