Abstract
A conductor welding device designed as a stronger alternative 5 to electrical wire splicing and taping. The device features pivotally connected first and second arms made of hollow, electrically conductive material, with insulating grip handles for manual operation. A carbon rod, housed in an insulated section of the first arm, contacts the conductor cable secured by a metallic clamp on the second arm. 10 A biasing mechanism keeps the arms open until squeezed together by the user, enabling the carbon rod to contact the conductor cable. Electric supply lines connect to terminals in both arms, allowing current to flow when the arms close. This produces an electric arc that welds the conductor cable tip, providing a durable, electrically reliable joint. 15 The compact design ensures ease of use and enhanced joint strength compared to conventional splicing and taping methods.
