Ore washing method and system for nickel laterite

Abstract

The present disclosure discloses an ore washing method and system for nickel laterite. The ore washing method for nickel laterite provided in the present disclosure includes: directly discharging and slurrying the nickel laterite with a highpressure water jet or sluicing and slurrying an ore pile nearby, directly screening a slurry with a vibrating screen, washing a residual ore mixture (including large and small gravels and part of mud ores) with a drum washer, and then flushing and screening a slurry discharged by the drum washer again with the vibrating screen to recover remaining nickel laterite. The above ore feeding step is not affected by climates such as rainy season, and is suitable for ore washing and slurrying of the nickel laterite under conditions of various fields and climates. Moreover, the tank scrubber with poor operational stability in the conventional ore washing process is eliminated, a process is simple, an operation rate of ore washing and overall production capacity can be obviously elevated, and an ore washing effect is improved.
