Method and device for distance protection of transmission line, computer equipment, and program product

Abstract

This application is applicable to the field of relay protection technology in power systems, and provides a method and a device for distance protection of a transmission line, a piece of computer equipment and a program product. The method includes steps of: obtaining symmetrical components of a power system at a local end of the transmission line, obtaining an installation position of an activated protection device, determining a positive-sequence voltage polarization compensation angle according to the symmetrical components, adjusting a distance protection operating range according to the installation position of the protection device and the positive-sequence voltage polarization compensation angle, and performing a distance protection based on a phase-comparison angle of a phasecomparison distance protection with a positive sequence voltage polarization and the distance protection operating range. This enables accurate identification of internal and external faults corresponding to the protection during faults in gridconnected transmission lines, ensuring precise operation.
