Abstract
A vegetable food bar is disclosed. The vegetable food bar composition consisting a grated chayote, diced chayote, butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and iodized salt for the batter mixture. Its filling includes diced chayote, butter, sugar, wok fried skinless peanuts, and chayote juice. The present vegetable food bar reduces the cereal content of existing food bars and consequently lowers the carbohydrates intake of food bar eating but health-conscious individuals.
