Abstract

The present utility model relates to a black rice and moringa crackling composition. The composition comprises black rice, moringa, water, cornstarch, salt, chili powder, and black pepper. The utility model provides an alternative crackling composition utilizing black rice and moringa as principal components, thereby differing from conventional pork crackling and the cited prior art. In one embodiment, the composition comprises 53.77% black rice, 23.58% water, 17.43% moringa, 2.37% cornstarch, 2.34% salt, 1.52% chili powder, and 1.35% black pepper. The composition may be prepared through the preparation, mixing, doughforming, boiling, freezing, slicing, drying, and frying operations described in the specification.
