Groundnut processing machine

Abstract

A groundnut processing machine for use in agricultural food processing is disclosed, specifically for shelling groundnuts. The machine comprises a frame (10) providing a foundation for a hopper (1) positioned at the uppermost portion of the frame to receive groundnuts. A shelling assembly is enclosed within an upper cover (2) and includes a roller drum (4), comprising a plurality of rods forming a cylindrical profile, and a semi-circle-shaped stator (6) positioned beneath said drum. A motor (9) drives the roller drum (4) via a belt assembly (7) and pulley (3). To facilitate separation, a blower (5) is positioned between the stator (6) and the motor (9) to remove shells and debris. A sieving assembly (8) is situated below the blower (5) to sort groundnut kernels by size while allowing waste to pass through. The machine integrates shelling, separation, and grading into a single continuous operation.
