Abstract

Hammer mill using thin hammers requires higher number of hammers to increase impact area and hammer mill using thick hammers to increase impact area requires higher amount of material on the hammers. These provides additional weight to the hammer mill requiring more power to operate the machine. The present utility model relates to a multi-commodity hammer mill hammer for small-scale milling operation using tilted hammers and its assembly to increase the impact area of the hammer using thin hammer. It comprises a threaded shaft, a nut threaded to said shaft, a metal sleeve secured to the said nut, a keyway provided to said shaft and metal sleeve, a key fitted to said shaft and metal sleeve, and a plurality of tilted hammers and vertical hammers welded to the said metal sleeve.
