Basket cart for hydroponics with self-balancing system

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a basket cart for a hydroponics integrated self-balancing system, which addresses stability challenges encountered during operation, particularly when the cart is subjected to uneven weight distribution and in highspeed movement, and subsequently abrupt steering angles during turns. [Solution] A basket cart (1) for hydroponics with self-balancing system comprising: a base frame (2); a rear frame (3) attached to the base frame (2); a midframe (4) attached to the base frame (2); a front frame (5) attached to the base frame (2); a handle (19) attached to the rear frame (3); a high-level basket (6), a mid level basket (7), and a low-level basket (8) mounted between the midframe (4) and rear frame (3); a counter-weigh assembly (9) attached to the front frame (5); a pair of front wheels (17) attached beneath the front frame (5); a pair of rear wheels (18) attached to the rear part of the base frame (2); a plurality of receptacles (6a, 7a, 8a) capable of holding a hydroponically grown plant for each basket (6, 7, 8); and a computing unit (27) configured to run a specified program. When the cart (1) begins to tilt to the left or right, the rod (11) holding the counter-weight mass (12) rotates clockwise or counterclockwise until the tilt angle gradually returns to 0°.
