Abstract
The utility model discloses a process for producing briquettes from bamboo leaves. The process comprises carbonizing dried bamboo leaves at 350–450 °C in a lowoxygen environment, pulverizing the charred material to a particle size of 150–250 μm, preparing a gelatinized cassava starch binder by heating starch with water at 85–95 °C, mixing the char and binder at a weight ratio of 80–90:10–20, molding the mixture under pressure, and drying the briquettes to 8–10% final moisture content. The process enables effective densification of bamboo leaf biomass, producing briquettes with improved structural integrity and handling durability suitable for fuel applications.
